  As most of you that receive our newsletter would know, The Knitter's Studio are having a sale up until Wednesday the 29th of June (inclusive). We have put a whole lot of products on our Clearance pages and are constantly updating and adding new product there - including yarn, knitting accessories and mags.

  We have also discounted all yarn by 20% and all patterns by 10%, that includes all pattern books and leaflets, and all of our beautiful yarn from Noro, Debbie Bliss, Jo Sharp, Schaefer, Kaalund, Sublime and Sirdar.

  This is a great chance for you to get your supplies sorted for your next project, right in the thick of knitting season, or just buy yourself something special and save yourself some money at the same time.

  I love a good knitting magazine - there's nothing like flicking through the pages, looking at all of the fantastic designs and yarns, and dreaming about what you're going to do next. Well, today has been quite a day when it comes to magazines at The Knitter's Studio. We have received three fantastic new mags for you to get your teeth into - and there really is something for every crafter out there.

  First up we have Interweave Knits (Summer 2011). With 21 beautiful knitting patterns and the easy-to-read articles on silk, portable knits and lace motifs, this magazine will keep you entertained for hours.

  Next we have a very special magazine from the team at Interweave called Knit and Spin, which combines both spinning information with some fantastic projects that can be knit up using your own handspun yarn. This new mag is aimed at the confident knitter who has just started spinning, so there are plenty of articles on how to get your handspun just right along with some beautiful knitting projects.

  Finally, our favourite Australian knitting magazine, Yarn, has just been released. We are still waiting for our order to arrive but you can order in advance and be assured that they will be sent out to you as soon as they arrive in store. There are some great articles this issue on how to create your own self-striping sock yarn, tips on blocking sweaters and of course some fabulous patterns to check out.

  And now, most importantly, there are a few extra magazines sitting in our stocks that need to go, so a whole lot of our magazines have been reduced for sale - and have also been added to our clearance pages. Magazines reduced include Interweave Knits, Debbie Bliss, Yarn and KnitScene - so here's a great chance to bag a bargain (or two!).

  We are having a bit Sublime and Sirdar clearance at The Knitter's Studio at the moment. If you order any Sirdar or Sublime yarn you will receive a 30% discount. This includes all of our beautiful Sublime Extra Fine Merino Silk DK, Soya Cotton DK and Cashmere Merino Silk DK as well as all of the Sirdar Yarns like Baby Bamboo, Luxury Soft Cotton and Juicy DK. We have some fantastic pattern support for these yarns, and you can check how many balls of each yarn you will need by clicking on the 'project details' for any of the patterns on the site.

  The pattern range is really extensive and includes everything from contemporary designs in The Second Cashmere Merino Silk DK book and the 'Little Sublime Handknit' series through to gorgeous patterns for babies, children and teenagers in Seaside Babes, Lazy Days and Holidays and California Girls. Don't forget if you see a pattern you like you may not have to buy the entire book as we stock a good range of Sirdar Pattern Leaflets, which with the discount are down to $6.65 each. Discounts are automatically applied as you checkout.

  In other news, if you receive our newsletter you would now know that if you are a Site Member we are now running a Loyalty Program. This applies to anyone receiving the newsletter and means that for every $250 you spend with us you will receive a $25 gift voucher - your totals accumulate from 1 January 2011 through to 31 December 2011, after which all totals will return to zero.
