About Us

The Knitter's Studio is the culmination of years of knitting projects that called for something 'extra'. Whether I was looking for beads, buttons, sequins or just an embellishment to add something special to a piece it was always a tough job finding it. Finally, in 2009, while working on one of Debbie Abraham's beautiful blankets I realised that knitters needed a place where they could find their yarn, patterns and embellishments all in the same spot, so The Knitter's Studio was created.

The Knitter's Studio went live for the first time in November 2009, we are just at the very beginning of our journey as a business, and while we have a great selection of products on our site already, we hope to be adding a whole lot more very soon. If you're interested in finding out when new stock arrives, make sure you add your name to our email list for newsletters, special deals and sales news.

My hope for the long term is that The Knitter's Studio makes it a little bit easier to finish off your knitting projects by providing everything you need from the one spot.
